Electronic Options and Strategy Orders

Open E Cry now gives traders the ability to trade both pit and electronic futures and electronic options on futures from the same platform. The OEC Trader now offers all exchange supported electronic options as well as all exchange supported electronic options strategies including:

• Spreads
• Strips
• Packs
• Bundles
• Butterflies
• Condors
• Straddles
• Strangles
• Ladders

In addition, exchange supported Futures Strategies are also supported.

Option Chain

OEC Trader now offers access to an Option Chain for all Electronic Options Contracts Available in the OEC Trader.

Under the View menu, this command displays the Options Chain window. The window can be independent or docked into the Default Layout. Refer to the Figure below.

An Options Chain is a way of quoting options prices through a list of all of the options for a given contract.

1. The Options Chain is an independent window that displays to a list of multiple strikes and put/calls on a given underlying asset and can be docked in the Default Layout.

2. To display an Option Chain, under View click on Options Chain to display the Market Selection window. Refer to the Figure below.

3. Select a contract from the Underlying drop-down menu or enter the symbol.

4. Select a contract from the Option drop-down menu or enter the symbol.

Note: Some columns have been suppresed in the image above. You can customize the columns displayed in your Options Chain with the Colums Setup...

Strategy Order Entry Ticket

The OEC Trader now allows you to easily trade complex exchange support futures or options strategies through the Strategy Order Entry Ticket.

This ticket should be used for futures or options orders for exchange supported contracts which have multiple legs. Please note that the Strategy Contracts must be enabled in the Contract Setup prior to using this ticket.

Enhanced Contract Setup and Lookup Functions

With the ever increasing number of markets and products available through the OEC Trader, Open E Cry now offers improved functionality in the Contract Setup and Contract Look-up windows which provide easier access to locate and trade specific contracts.

• Contracts can be filtered by:
• Futures
• Options
• Strategies
• Exchange
• Session
• Or any combinations of the above
• Contracts can be Grouped by:
• Exchange
• Market Group Type
• Strategy

Only the contracts you select in the contract setup will be available in other areas of the application.

• You will be able to see the full detail of all the Active Contracts Including:
• Full Contract Specifications
• Legs (if strategy order)
